Lesson Overview

After developing a value proposition map for the startup idea, comes crucially the step of developing its business model. Lesson 6 starts on the definition of a business model, how business models act as a core of startup strategy, and examples of different business model patterns.

 

Then, the lesson teaches about the nine blocks of the business model canvas; beginning with defining customers, keeping value proposition aligned with customer segment/s, types of markets, channels definition, customer relationships meaning and forms, difference between channels and customer relationships, definitions of key activities, resources, and partners. Then, covers key activities categories, key resources categories, key partners importance and when to decide to have them, examples of different revenue streams and finishes with the Definition and types of costs.
